Open Beta is here.

Had I known this morning the beta servers where up I wouldn’t have spent the morning trying to shield the sun-rays and cursing my duty to show up for work. I got a small teaser and was able to queue up for a single scenario. I have some plans for open beta, I have goals to get stuff done and brutalize! Ten Things for Beta.

 

1. Rediscover my love of healing.— I played a cleric back in the days of DAoC on Guinevere RvR server and then again later when I was PvPin on Mordred. I’m going to rank up an Archmage first and foremost. I want to reach Tier 2 with that character and try to decide if I want a Runepriest or Archmage as my healing alt.                                                                                                                 
2. Level yet another Engineer that will be wiped and go grenadier spec this time around. — I feel like rifleman spec will be one of the most popular specs to play and most likely what I’m aiming(OMG a pun) to be. I have always been one to take very original spec lines to properly fit my play style. I can only hope that all the paths will be viable to play in the endgame.
3. Along with #2 I’ll have to play around with the turrets again. — I am very optamistic over the patch notes (even though preview weekend was a good experience)
4. Dive deeper into class synergies and group make-ups.  — There are alot of morale abilities that when used around the same time paired with a specific class can and will manipulate the battle lines with great effectiveness.
5. Further study RvR zones. — There are tons of choke points, ledges, and secret back roads for good play.
6. Punt Goblins off our Keep. — hours of enjoyment
7. Find a way to play smoothly with full spell effects. — Easier said then done.
8. Solo a Hero mob. — Hey, I soloed a few champions… how hard could it be?
9. Record hours worth of footage. — I know I am selfish but I won’t be making any movies for the first few days I’m out there gettin’ blood and grudge all over me. (haha, ohh the jokes that will come from that mechanic… haha)
10. WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN — Imagine Tom Vs. Jerry
